“Photography was basically just a hobby of mine. I started to discover that everywhere I went there were amazing things that I wanted to take pictures of so that I would remember them always. For instance, on the off chance that I would catch up with my most amazingly best friend Jon, I would take a picture of the napkin he used to clean up the drink he spilled on the bar, you know, stuff like that. I do have, in my gallery an image of a swizzle stick that Lindsy Lohan used to stir a grande mochacinno with extra whipped cream…I’m just cool like that.” - my bio according to Jon Messing of AngryBrownMan.com

That was so funny, I had to keep it there.

But actually, according to me….

I still identify myself to most as the former Vice-President of Georgians for Child Support and Family Law Reform.

I have been a Georgia resident since 1999 and from the time I moved here until 2009, I was immersed in the organization I helped grow. What originated as about 5 people, grew to over 5,000 in a three year time period. Together, we lobbied to ensure that Georgia adopted a fair child support calculation that was fair to both parents. We were successful in 2006.

During these times, I was able to work with some of the most knowledgeable lawyers, politicians, advocates and other experts…people who formed my extended family.

Those were some of the best..and worst years of my life.

In 2009, I decided to resign and focus on all things “non-political” in nature. I needed to spend free time as..non committed to any “cause”. However, I know that I will return when the time and issues are right.

Meanwhile, I enjoy using my various cameras and capturing moments of time. I don’t keep a diary, because my photos document my memories of that particular moment, day, time, person, emotion and place. I hope to fill this site with some of my most favorite “diary” entries in addition to some of my legislative items that were such a large part of my past life.
